Eric's PickThe Classique Chronométrie reference 7727 is one of Breguet's most technologically-advanced watches and it won the “Aiguille d’Or” in 2014 at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève. Breguet claimed six new patents with the creation of this watch. This watch features magnetic pivots and this innovation was patented on November 9, 2010 (this is engraved on the back of the movement). Magnetic pivots allow for greater shock resistance and accuracy. This watch also operates at 10 hertz (HZ) which allows for measurement of up to 1/20th of a second. This watch features a 60 hour power reserve, the dial has six different styles of guilloche, a seconds counter at 12 o’clock and a 1/10th of a seconds counter at 1 o’clock. Breguet houses all of this greatness into a large 41mm case with classic Breguet styling including the coin edged case, Breguet hands, and straight lugs. This watch is for the person who loves classic style and cutting-edge technology, but also appreciates craftsmanship and high precision. This particular example is in stunningly mint condition and worn on only a few occasions.
