Lot Essay
Fred's Pick In 1994, this 18k White Gold Speedmaster was released in a limited edition to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing. OMEGA produced 500 pieces in white gold and this specific watch is number 213 of 500. This watch has several notable features that set it apart from the conventional Speedmaster. This model features a beautiful silver dial that can look grey or white depending on how the sunlight hits it, polished silver hands, sapphire display case back, chronometer-rated movement, and of course the 18k white gold bracelet and case. This watch is engraved. "Apollo XI 1969-1994" on the 9 o'clock side of the case. This is a good opportunity to own a limited edition Speedmaster in a precious metal on the original white gold bracelet and would be a great addition to any collection.
