Lot Essay
The OMEGA Speedsonic is referred to as the "lobster" by collectors because of its interesting bracelet that many believe resemble a lobster tail. The Speedsonic features a quartz Bulova movement and the inside of the case back says, "Movement licensed Bulova & Pat." This watch has a mirrored finished dial with black subsidiary registers.
According to the Archives of OMEGA the present watch was manufactured on August 26, 1975 and delivered to Italy.

The case and bracelet are in good condition with scratches. The case back has few heavier scratches. The case and bracelet appear to be polished. The clasp has a small ding on the 9 o'clock side. The bezel has small nicks around the edge. The dial and hands appear to be original and have developed light patina. The subsidiary seconds hand appears to be a replacement. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
