Lot Essay
Brandon's Pick Patek Philippe launched the reference 3520 in 1965. At the time this model came out it was advertised as the flattest waterproof watch in the world. This reference was made in two series and this example is part of the second series because it houses the caliber 177. This watch features a hobnail bezel, white lacquered dial with black painted Roman numerals as well as "Tiffany & Co." signature on the bottom half of the dial. Patek Philippe watches retailed by Tiffany & Co. are highly sought after and in-demand by collectors. This watch appears to have been serviced by Patek Philippe early in its life and the case has developed a beautiful patina giving the yellow gold case a warm pinkish glow.
