Lot Essay
Rolex debuted the Datejust in 1954 and it has been in production ever since. This example is two-tone with gold fluted bezel and handsome metallic blue dial. The inside of the case back is stamped 16200. Two-tone Datejust's offer a great value and are appropriate for many occasions.

The case and bracelet are in good condition with scratches. The case and bracelet appear to be polished. The bracelet has a lot of stretch. Behind both sets of lugs are marks from the end links. Both sides of the case have scratches and light nicks. The case back has heavier scratches and nicks. The dial and hands appear to be original and in excellent condition. The luminescent material on the dial and in the hands are both matching in color. The crystal has scratches. This watch has no. 455B end links and a 62523H-18 bracelet. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
