Eric's Pick
Vianney Halter revealed the Deep Space Tourbillon in 2013 and it was awarded the prize for Innovation that year at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève. The Vianney Halter Deep Space Tourbillon is unlike any other timepiece in past or present production. This watch was designed with inspirations from science fiction media such as Star Trek and works by Jules Verne. The watch is comprised of a 46mm case, a large domed crystal, and a triple axis tourbillon movement that is fully visible. The hour and minute hand are designed in the traditional fashion where the short hand is hours and long hand is minutes, however the minute hand is jumping, adding to the complication of this innovative timepiece. This watch was made in very limited quantities and this may be the first one to come to market since its release. To find one in this condition and for an estimate well below the approximate retail price of $200,000 is an exceptional opportunity.
