Lot Essay

This is an unsigned 14k gold, "mouvement de la vallee," or movement from the valley meaning Vallee de Joux where Audemars Piguet, Breguet and other famous makers are located. This watch was likely made for the Russian market and features a beautiful enamel dial located in between two automata ladies who strike the bell when the slide is activated.
