The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The case has scratches throughout. The case back has a couple deep scratches and a few dents. The 9 o’clock side of the case has a couple dents. The hallmark on the side of the case at 9 o’clock is visible. The dial and hands appear to be original and have developed patina. The dial shows signs of wear and has scratches in the sub-registers. The spring bars are fixed. The spring bars are both slightly bent, but still in-tact and functional. The crystal has scratches. The chronograph is functioning; however, the second’s hand does not reset to 12. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
