The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The watch is in very good condition with all diamonds present. There is an engraving to the case back with an insignia. There are some scratches to the case back around where the case is opened. The dial and hands are in excellent condition and appear to be original. The hour markers and hands have developed a light patina. The movement was made by Longines and invoiced to A Wittnauer Co. on May 2, 1930. The rest of the watch parts were produced locally under license from Longines. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
