The case is in good condition with normal signs of wear, has been lightly polished, and the hallmark is visible to the side of the case at 4 o’clock. The case back has scratches near where it is opened and an engraving that reads, “OLE BORDEN.” The dial has been refinished and the Cartier signature not original. The hands have developed patina. The buckle shows normal signs of wear with a light patina. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
