The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The watch is in good condition with light signs of wear and has been polished, but the case is full. The numbers between the lugs are faint, but visible. The hallmarks are visible to the backs of the lugs. The inside case back is stamped '16800' and has watchmaker's marks. The bezel is in good condition and correct. The dial is in good condition and appears to be original. The hour markers have developed a light patina and the lume in the hour markers has partially darkened with age. At the top edge of the dial near 12 o'clock there is a slight sign of wear. The hands appear to be service replacements and have developed a light patina. The date changes as the hands pass midnight. The spring bars are steel. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
