The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The case and case back are in good condition with signs of wear, commensurate with its age. The case has been polished. There are some more noticeable scratches on the 9 o’clock side of the case. The backs of the lugs show evidence of the bracelet. The inside case back has watchmaker’s marks. The top pusher is a replacement. The bezel insert shows some signs of wear, especially near 6 o’clock. The dial and hands are in good condition with signs of age and appear to be original. The lume plots are slightly dirtied and there is some loss of paint in the sub-registers and minute track. The lume in the hands has darkened and is a green color. The end links are stamped 380 and the bracelet 7836. The bracelet has been polished. The date does not change as the hands pass midnight. A service is required to fix this. The chronograph is working at the time of cataloguing. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
