Lot Essay
Breguet introduced the Reine de Naples collection in 2002, inspired by an early bracelet watch A.L. Breguet created for Bonaparte’s sister Caroline, the Queen of Naples. The present watch features a mother-of-pearl dial nicely complemented with a diamond-set bezel and briolette-cut diamond-set crown. It is an elegant example of feminine oval watches, perfect for any lady with a refined appreciation for mechanical movements.
