Lot Essay
Jaeger-LeCoultre and Aston Martin partnered up to create a series of limited edition watches. The present watch is from the limited "R-Alarm" edition run of 500 pieces of the AMVOX1 model. This watch is number 340 of 500. AMVOX1 stands for Aston Martin and "VOX" from Memovox (the original JLC alarm watch). This model is a direct descendent and was inspired by the Polaris from the 1960s and shares many characteristics, such as case shape, complication, and overall aesthetic. The dial features a two-tone green and black dial with yellow accents and large luminous Arabic numerals. The case back is engraved with the Aston Martin logo and the 9 o'clock side of the case has a plack engraved, "R-Alarm No. 340 - 500."

Condition report
A Christie's specialist may contact you to discuss this lot or to notify you if the condition changes prior to the sale.
The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The case is in good condition with light scratches and handling marks. The last hole on the strap is ripped. The dial and hands appear to be original and in excellent condition. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
