拍品專文

Tudor introduced the reference 7928 in 1959 and this was the first Tudor Submariner to sport crown guards. Early examples of this reference had square crown guards, but these guards made it difficult to set the watch. As a result Tudor began to file the guards making them pointy, like the ones on the present example. These "pointed crown guard" or "PCG" Submariners are referred to as "cornino" by Italian collectors. This Submariner also features a gilt dial and chapter ring making it highly-desirable for collectors. The case number is 325668. The inside of the case back is stamped II.60 indicating it is from circa 1960.
