The Northern Hemisphere 1521 by Magellan is an interesting and rare watch. This watch features a half globe on the dial displaying the Northern Hemisphere and around the globe is a mother of pearl chapter ring. The crown is not visible from the front making the watch symmetrical and can be operated easily. From the side this watch has a dome shaped crystal to accommodate the half globe on the dial. This version is cased in 18k gold and is numbered no. 16 on the case back. The hands wrap around the globe and when looking directly at the watch straight on one does not notice the crystal.
