Lot Essay

Sylvester Stallone has been a longtime fan of Panerai, since he discovered them in 1995 while in Florence searching for a watch that would suit his character in the “Daylight.” Sly partnered up with Panerai after the film to produce a series of 200 watches for the movie crew and his friends and this is how the Slytech started. Since then, Sly partnered with Panerai on a few limited edition watches. Panerai and Sylvester Stallone partnered up in 2005 and came out with the PAM00225. This Luminor was made in a limited run of 500 pieces and this particular example is number 67. This “Slytech” model feature a black dial and titanium case. Despite the 47mm case it is surprisingly light and easy to wear because of the lightness of titanium.
