Urwerk was founded in 1997 by Felix Baumgarter and Martin Frei and 2017 marks the companies 20th anniversary. The UR-102 or the "Night Watch" was the second watch that Urwerk came out with in 1998. This watch came in a very limited production run of 10 pieces and the present example is number 6. The design of this watch was inspired by the Soviet satellite Sputnik. These early Urwerk watches do not come up for sale in the second hand market often and this is a great opportunity to own one.
