The case is in good condition with light scratches. The inside of the lug at 11 o'clock shows some light signs of wear. The outside of the 1 o'clock lug has a larger scratch. The case has developed a light patina. The back of the lug at 11 o'clock has a small nick to it. The case back is in good condition with an engraving that has the initials, "VJP." The hallmarks are only partially visible to the case back - two of them are partially rubbed. The dial and hands are in good condition and appear to be original. There are few loose hairs on the dial. The hour markers have developed a light patina. The hands have developed patina. The buckle shows light signs of wear and has developed a light patina. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
