The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The case is in good condition with light scratches and few small nicks. The case appears to have been lightly polished. The tip of the lug at 1 o'clock has few small nicks. The top of the lug at 7 o'clock has few scratches. The edge of the back of the lug at 7 o'clock has a small nick. The case back has an engraving that reads, "J. Doster Sig Ugrin, From Matt Zupan, 6-29-59." The manufacture engravings are visible to the case back. The inside of the case back has watchmaker's marks. The dial and hands are in good condition. The dial is a later replacement and not correct for the case. The dial shows light signs of age around its outer edge and has developed patina. The luminous material at the hour markers and in the hands have darkened with age. The movement is stamped 'BOW.' The chronograph is working at the time of cataloguing. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
