This three-register Autavia chronograph has garnered the nickname the “Jochen Rindt Autavia” as the legendary Formula One driver wore a similar reference 2446 while racing in the 1960s until his untimely death in 1970.

The combination of features that this watch possesses, including the Valjoux 72 movement and the “inverse panda” dial produced by Singer make this watch somewhat similar to 1960s Rolex Daytona models, and it is thus no surprise that these have risen significantly in value and interest in recent years. Furthermore, this watch impresses with is extremely rare tachymeter bezel, according to research, this bezel has been found on less than 20 examples to date. Furthermore, the present example comes from the family of the original owner.
