The case is in excellent condition. The numbers are visible between the lugs. The case back is in excellent condition. The inside of the case back has watchmaker's marks. The bezel is correct with signs of wear around its edge. The dial is in good condition and appears to be original. The dial has turned to a chocolate brown color and is slightly darkened around the base of the hands and date aperture window. The luminous material on the dial and in the hands has darkened slightly with age. The hour and minute hand appear to be later replacements. The date changes as the hands pass midnight. The chronograph is working at the time of cataloguing. The movement is marked 'SX.' The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
