The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The case has light scratches throughout and a small ding to its side at 5 o'clock. The case has developed a patina throughout. There is an engraving to the case back that has what appear to be two Cs. The inside of the case back and dust over have light scratches. The inside of the dust cover is slightly rubbed, but the hallmarks are visible. The hallmarks are also visible to the part of the case back covered by the dust cover. The dial and hands are in good condition and appear to be original. The dial has a small part that has peeled between 1 and 2 o'clock and between 6 and 8 o'clock. There are some other smaller areas that have peeled as well. The hands show light signs of wear with few areas of very small amounts of paint missing. The gold chain is in good condition with light scratches. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
