Lot Essay

One-off piece in 750/000 white gold. The BENU Power Reserve SGD 1953 emphasises the regional roots of the Moritz Grossmann manufactory. Its title, "SGD 1953", is the short form used by fans and describes the Sportgemeinschaft Dynamo Dresden and its founding year of 1953. The watch is engraved 02/11.

The special model BENU power reserve "SGD 1953" is presented in white gold. The two-colour power reserve indicator of this unique model is available in the Dynamo Dresden colours black and yellow. If the black part of the bar can be seen in the dial section, the watch is fully wound. As the spring tension expires, it appears increasingly Dynamo yellow. The characteristic “D” of the Dynamo logo decorates the black dial in a central position but discreetly in dark grey. Dynamo’s cult football striker of the 80s and today’s sports managing director Ralf Minge has signed the unique new edition “SGD 1953”. His signature is fixed in the form of a gold thread in the sapphire crystal back on the rear of the watch. Calibre 100.2 in High Artistic Finish. Engraving 1 / 1.
