The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The case has light scratches and few nicks. The case and lugs have been lightly polished. The outside of the lugs at 7 and 11 o'clock have scratches and there is a small nick to the side of the case at 9 o'clock. The back of the lugs have scratches and there is a nick to the back of the lug at 7 o'clock. The case back has scratches. The number to the case back is visible. The inside of the case back has watchmaker's marks. The dial has developed patina throughout and appears to have been reprinted. The dial shows signs of wear around the sub-registers and there is some loss of printing around the outer track. The hour markers and hands have developed patina. The chronograph is working at the time of cataloguing, but the chrono hand does not reset exactly to 12 as it should. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
