The case is in good condition with light scratches and has developed a light patina. The hallmarks are crisp to the bow. The case back is in good condition with light scratches and the initials engraved to it "BJLA." The hinge case back is not tight. The hallmarks are crisp to the inside of the case back. The inside of the case back has an engraving that reads, "1918 October 27, 1939." The dial and hands are in excellent condition and appear to be original. There is a small discoloration to the right of the base of the hands. The hands have developed patina. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
The movement is marked 'TXW.'
