The case is in excellent condition and appears to be unpolished. The top of the 11 o'clock lug has light scratches. The back of the lugs have heavy scratches. The case back is in good condition with light scratches. The engraving is crisp. The inside of the case back has watchmaker's marks. The bezel is a service bezel, in excellent condition, and has faded to a light gray color. The dial and hands are in very good condition and appear to be original. The luminous material at the hour markers has darkened slightly with age. The hands have developed patina. The luminous material in the minute and hour hand match that of the hour markers. The chronograph hand appears to have been relumed. The end links are marked '6.' The bracelet is marked '1039' and '1, 72,' indicating its production in the first quarter of 1972. The bracelet is a later replacement. The bracelet is in good condition with light scratches. The chronograph is working at the time of cataloguing. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
