The reference 2551 was produced from 1954 to 1960. The cases for this reference were made by Wenger and the dials made by Stern Freres. The caliber 12"600 AT was being used in 14 models at the time. It is estimated that around 1100 examples were produced in yellow gold. This model features a stepped bezel, screw back case and Patek Philippe crown. In 1958, this model in yellow or pink gold was selling for 1,940 Swiss Francs.
