The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The case is in good condition with light scratches and has developed a light patina. The case has been lightly polished. The tip of the lug at 1 o'clock has a nick to its inside. The numbers are visible between the lugs. The hallmarks is visible to the back of the 1 o'clock lug. The case back is engraved, "Richard D. Oakley, 25 Years of Service, Pacific Coca-Cola Bottling Company." The case back has scratches. The inside of the case back is stamped '1005' and has watchmaker's marks. The Coca-Cola printing on the dial is later. The dial has been redone. The dial appears to have been partially relumed. The plot at 3 o'clock has darkened. At 5 and 6 o'clock the plots have deteriorated. The hour markers and hands have developed patina. The hands appear to be service replacements. The movement is stamped 'ROW.' The crown is a tight. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
