The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Thee case is in good condition with scratches and few small nicks. The bow has scratches to it. The case back is in good condition with scratches. The engravings to the inside of the case back are crisp and there are some scratches. The engraving to the cuvet cover reads, "Presented to William Lennon to mark a quarter-century of continuous service with the T. Eaton Co. Limited, 1924-1949." There are some signs of the cuvet cover being opened. The engravings are crisp to the inside of the cuvet cover and the movement appears clean. The hallmarks are visible to the back of the case hidden by the back cover. The dial and hands are in good condition and appear to be original. The dial shows light signs of wear around the outer edge of the dial. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
