The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The case is in good condition with light scratches throughout. The case has been lightly polished. The numbers are crisp between the lugs. The tips of all lugs have small nicks to them. The back of the lugs have scratches. The case back has scratches and there is a small area where there appears to be some pitting. The inside of the case back is stamped '1603.' The bezel is in good condition with some small nicks. The dial and hands are in good condition and appear to be original. The dial has developed a light patina around its upper, outer edge. The plots at 4, 5, 6, and 11 are mostly deteriorated and the plots at 2, 7 and 9 have small dents in them. The hands have developed a light patina. There is a very small mark to the dial to the right of the base of the hands. The crystal has some scratches. The date changes as the hands pass midnight. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
