The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The case shows signs of wear with scratches and small nicks. The case and lugs have been polished. The lug holes appear large. The numbers are visible between the lugs. The back of the lugs have scratches and shows evidence of the bracelet. The case back has scratches and shallow pitting. The inside of the case back is stamped '1016' and 'II.64,' indicating its production in the second quarter of 1964. The inside of the case back has watchmaker's marks. The dial and hands are in good condition. The dial has been cleaned and relumed. The black paint on the dial has slight imperfections between 1 and 2 o'clock, near 4 o'clock, between 5 and 6 o'clock, and between 10 and 11 o'clock. The lume is in good condition, but slightly deteriorated at 5 o'clock. The hands have developed patina and the lume in the minute hand has a small dark spot and the hour hand the same. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
