The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The case is in good condition and has been polished. The lug at 1 o'clock has a scratch to it. The numbers between the lugs are visible with scratches through them. The back of the lugs on the 3 o'clock side of the case have scratches. The case back has been light polished and has light scratches. The inside of the case back has is stamped '6536/1' and 'III.57' indicating its production in the third quarter of 1957. The inside of the case back has watchmaker's marks. The bezel appears to be original. The bezel insert is a later replacement. The dial is a service replacement. The hands are later replacements as well. The luminous material in the hands and at the hour markers matches in color and is a dark yellow. The hands have developed patina. The end links are marked '80' and the bracelet '6636. The clasp is marked '4, 69,' indicating its production in the fourth quarter of 1969. The clasp of the bracelet has been polished. The bracelet is in good condition. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
