Lot Essay

Founded in 1875 by Jules Audemars and Edward-August Piguet, the Swiss manufacture known today as Audemars Piguet is part of the rare fine watch-making companies still held by the families of their founding partners. Ref. 25770ST (case number D96639) is part of the very first, larger Royal Oak Offshore collection which was conceptualized and introduced in the 1990ies in different very unusual bright colours like yellow, pink or baby blue. The present watch bares number No. 265.
