The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The case of the clock shows signs of wear and has dents. The entire clock shows signs of the paint wearing off, exposing the base metal in many spots. The elephant is loosely secured to the base and will need adjusting. The dial and hands are possibly original and show signs of wear. The baby holding the snake on the top is loosely secured and the "cat tails" closer to the rear of the elephant are loosely secured. The movement appears to be an associated French movement. The base is engraved, "BARYE."
Both candelabra are loosely secured to the marble base and will need adjusting. Both show signs of the paint wearing. One is slightly shorter than the other.
The clock movement is not functioning and will require a full service. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
