The case has developed a light patina throughout and appears to have been lightly polished. There is a nick between the lugs at 6 o'clock. The back of the lugs show signs of wear and some loss of the gold plating to the back of the 1 o'clock lug. The case back has light scratches, signs of being opened, and has been lightly polished. The dial and hands are in good condition with some signs of age and appear to be original. There is a small amount of blue smudging on the 'H' and 'S' of Hermes. There are some signs of wear at the outer track between the numbers. The hour markers have developed patina and the hour hand has some paint loss. The alarm function is working at the time of cataloguing. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
