The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The case is in good condition with signs of wear, commensurate with its age and has been lightly polished. The back of the lugs show signs of wear. The case back is in good condition with light signs of wear and an engraving that reads, "Presented By A.P. Good to F. Cato for satisfactory apprenticeship 1947-1951." The crystal has striations near 9 to 11 o'clock. The dial and hands are in good condition with signs of age and appear to be original. The dial has yellowed with age and the hands and hour markers have developed patina. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
