Lot Essay

Jaeger-LeCoultre was established in 1833 by the brothers Charles Antoine and Ulysse LeCoultre in the Vallée de Joux in the Swiss Canton of Vaud and became one of the most prestigious manufactures in Switzerland.
The present watch line, a reminiscent to a similar model from 1948 (Ref. 2722) was released as a commemorative watch for the 150th anniversary of the company in 1983.
