The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The case is in good condition with tarnish. It appears that someone tried to clean this bird box, but it turned the box green all over in between the engraving throughout the case. The bottom of the box has scratches, dents, and shows signs of wear. The lid is possibly a later replacement that does not fit perfectly, it is not secured properly to the box. The bird does not always go back into the box properly when done functioning. The lever that activates the bird box is sticky and the operator needs to push down slightly after pulling it to activate. The movement is working at the time of cataloging, however this watch is sold in “as-is” condition and we recommend a full service and overhaul.
