ABOUT THE WINE
As one of the oldest Medoc estates in Bordeaux, Las Cases was previously owned by French nobility until the Las Cases acquired the property. They make a lustrous Bordeaux style wine that takes 15 to 20 years to shed its tannins for good vintages. The winemaking process remains traditional, with harvesting still done by hand. Dark and layered, Leoville Las Cases is reminiscent of a First Growth Pauillac.
