The case shows signs of wear throughout and has been lightly polished. The hallmark is crisp to the side of the case at 4 o'clock. The case has developed a patina throughout. The hallmark is visible to the back of the lug at 11 o'clock. The case back shows normal signs of wear throughout, there is a scratch showing it has been opened and a small ding to the side of the case at 9 o'clock. The inside case back has watchmaker's marks. The crown appears to be a later replacement. The bezel has been lightly polished and shows signs of age. The dial and hands show signs of age and appear to be original. The dial appears to have been cleaned a long time ago and has developed a patina throughout. There are small signs of wear to the dial and a scratch to the outer edge of the dial from 11 to 1 o'clock. The tip of the minute hand is slightly bent. The hands and hour markers have developed patina and the hands have light scratches. The crystal has some scratches. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
