The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The case is in good condition with light signs of wear and has been lightly polished. The hallmarks are faintly visible to the side of the case at 9 o'clock. The lug at 7 o'clock is slightly bent. The inside of the case back has watchmaker's marks. The bezel is in good condition with some spots of patina. The dial and hands are in good condition and appear to be original. There are few raised white spots to the lower part of the dial and a black spot between the 7 o'clock numeral. The base of the minute hand appears to have a small amount of paint missing. The buckle is in good condition and appears to have been lightly polished. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
