The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The watch is in very good condition with few, light signs of wear throughout. The outside of the case has the initials “G.V.” engraved to it. The hallmark is visible to the stem. The inside dust cover has been lightly polished and has watchmaker’s marks to it. There is some light pitting to the inside of the front cover. The dial and hands are in very good condition and appear to be original. The dial has no visible cracks. The hands have developed a light patina. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
