The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The case shows normal signs of wear throughout, commensurate with its age and has developed a light patina. The hallmark is visible to the base of the bow. The case back shows normal signs of wear and has initials engraved to it that read, "WKE." The inside case back has watchmaker's marks and the hallmarks are crisp. The dust cover has an engraving that reads, "Willard from Anne, June 1924." The movement, case and dial are signed 'Patek Philippe.' The case features a hidden hinge. The dial and hands are in excellent condition and appear to be original. The dust cover and movement both mention 'Shreve, Crump & Low." The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
