The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The watch is in good condition with light signs of wear throughout and the case has developed a light patina. The hallmark is mostly visible to the base of the stem. The case back has a the initials “W.T.O.” in blue and red enamel in a decorative style. The dust cover is engraved “Made for W.T. Oberer.” The movement is signed Patek Philippe and also is engraved “Frank F. Bonnet, Columbus O.” The dial and hands are in good condition and appear to be original. The dial has no visible cracks. There is a small chip in the enamel in the sub-register. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
