Lot Essay

Patek Philippe introduced the reference 96 in 1932 and it was in production until circa 1973. This particular example falls in the second series of production. This model marked the earliest years of numbered referenced watches for Patek Philippe. The reference 96 came in many variations throughout its production, spanning over 40 years. This particular example has quite a handsome aesthetic with pink gold case and satin-finished silvered dial.
