The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The case is in good condition with normal signs of wear commensurate with its age and has been polished. The hallmark to the bow is almost completely rubbed. The case back has some light scratches and has been polished. The inside case back has watchmaker's marks and the hallmarks are crisp to it. The dust cover indicates this watch is a chronometro gondolo. The dial and hands appear to be original. There is a chip to the dial just below the 2 o'clock hour marker. There are multiple cracks emanating from it. There is also a crack at the bottom of the dial between 5 and 6 o'clock to the sub-register at 6 o'clock. The hands have developed a patina. The crystal has some scratches. The movement is not working at the time of cataloguing. A service is required.
