Lot Essay
The reference 2517 was introduced in 1951 and was in production until circa 1955. The main distinguishing feature of this watch is the rectangular case and hooded lugs. This particular example comes on a period correct Patek Philippe brick bracelet with "PP" logo on the clasp. The present example is in untouched all-original condition. Finding vintage watches in this condition is getting harder each day and this is a great opportunity to own an interesting and rare reference in such condition.
