Lot Essay

In production between 1950 and the late 1960s, reference 2509 is the twin of its contemporary reference 2508. The difference among the two models is that 08 has sweep centre seconds, while 09 has subsidiary seconds. The current example features strong hallmarks, a well preserved dial, and of course its original soft iron dust cap.
