Lot Essay

This Patek Philippe reference 4222 features a square case and sunburst blue "Sigma" dial. This watch comes with a rare buckle where "Patek Philippe" is spelled wrong, it is spelled, "Patek Phillipe." These "Patek Phillipe" buckles were a mistake and only made for the American market. At the time this watch came out it was meant for a man but today it would be suitable for either a man or lady.
